PLATEAU UNITED GM BAGGED AWARD

The genera Manager of Plateau United Football Club of Jos, Pius Henwan has attributed the successes recorded so far by the team to the support and encouragement he received from the state governor, Simon Lalong.

 

Henwan stated this shortly after receiving a Certificate of Selfless Service To Humanity bestowed on him by the All Progressives Congress Concerned Youths For Good Governance Initiative at his office in Jos.

The General Manager who was elated with the award, noted that it was the support and encouragement that propelled the team to win the prestigious Nigeria Professional Football League title for the first time in the club fourty two year history.

He explained that the governor Simon Lalong whose emergence was under the banner of the APC has done alot, especially for the youths on the Plateau and he urged them to reciprocate the gesture by re-electing the governor and President Muhammadu Buhari to enable the team continue to enjoy that support.

Presenting the certificate and plague to the General Manager, National President of the group Omotosho Richard said the remarkable achievement recorded within two years of his assumption of office is a clear manifestation that the APC government have the interest of the Nigeria youths at heart.

Omotosho explained that the formation of the organization which is anchored on the successes recorded so far by the APC government at all levels, appealed to the General Manager to see the award as a moral booster by doing more to uplift the lives of the youths.

Chairman, Plateau State Football Association, Sunday Longbap while congratulating Henwan for the award challenged him to do more in winning more laurels with the team.

High point of the occasion, was the presentation of the medal and plague to the General Manager amidst cheers by management and the Club supporters.
