Plateau State Super League 2021: Delux FA And Former Champions, Jazzy Stars FA Shine As Attention Shift To Langtang

The much anticipated Plateau State FA Super League finally kick-started yesterday at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium with two matches played in the presence of the full members of the FA headed by Hon. Sunday Samson Longbap.

In the first match, Delux FA defeated Gee-Lec International 2-1.
Uche Onyema put Delux ahead in the 14th minute, Muktar Rabiu restored parity for Gee-Lec before Nyarko Christopher netted the winning goal for Delux FA.

In the second match of the day, it took 2006/2007 champions, Jazzy Stars FA a dying minute goal to beat hard fighting Tudun Wada FA 1-0.
Martins Sunday got the only goal after been set up by a well-tailored pass from the midfield gem, Titus Bulus.

A delighted Jazzy Stars Coach, Caleb Theophilus, commended the Plateau State FA for bringing back the Super League; praised the professionalism of his boys of not been complacent after going thirty-one(31) matches unbeaten this year.
He commended the doggedness of the youthful Tudun Wada FA boys for putting up a very good fight.

On his own part, the Cheif Coach of Tudun Wada FA, Kelechi Okoye, said he’s not bothered because his team lost to a very technical and tactical team.
According to him, “Jazzy Stars is such a team that gives everything they’ve got into play, very good team with techniques and have some brilliant players. My boys must have learned one or two things today and will come out with a better result in the next match.

The action continues today in both Rwang Pam Township Stadium and Langtang Mini Stadium.

At the Langtang Mini Stadium, Arsenal Fc will battle it out with New Falcon Fc by 10:00 am, while Casava fc will entertain Congo Utd by 1:00 pm, while The Growers FC lock horns with Shimankar Utd by
3:00pm.

At the Rwang Pam Township Stadium, Gee-Lec Academy will be going all out to salvage some pride after their senior counterparts lost yesterday as they take on Golden Boys FC by
10:00am.

2007/2008 champions, Faith Alive FC will file out against Selenei FC by 12noon, NIB CFA will battle it out with Pariang FC by 2 pm, while the last match of the day will be between BBR FC and FC Izam by 4 pm.
