In a bid to maintain a clean slate towards the end of the season, Referees have been enjoined to avoid acts that would make them lose focus on fair and firm officiating.
Otunba Tade Azeez, President of the Nigeria Referees Association, NRA have asked referees to not only officiate by the rules of the game but also ensure antics of clubs to will at all cost do not affect their performances.

In the neighbors’ tie between Plateau United and Wikki Tourist of Bauchi, the NRA Deputy National Training Officer, Dr Aminu Shantali of Sokoto will be on the stands to monitor performances of the Match Officials as Assessor while
Chairman of Ogun council, Olatubosun Obayemi will also ascertain the manner FIFA referee and Council secretary of Bornu State Referees, a civil servant, Grema Mohammed alongside his crew will oversee the Akwa United vs Ranger’s cracker in Uyo.
