Pisa Confident Akinsanmiro Has Found “Ideal Home” Despite 2–0 Loss to Inter

Ahead of the Serie A clash, Tuttomercato reports that Pisa issued an official statement reaffirming their belief that the 19-year-old has settled perfectly into their project and represents an important part of their medium-term plans. Akinsanmiro, who is on loan from Inter, has been one of Pisa’s bright spots this season despite the team’s struggles.

The club clarified that the midfielder remains an Inter player, with Pisa holding an option to buy, while Inter inserted a buy-back clause—a structure that underscores how highly both clubs rate the promising Nigerian.

Pisa admitted they would have preferred to have Akinsanmiro available for the match against his parent club but were bound by league rules.

“We consider him an ideal fit for the environment here,” the statement read. “We hope to have him back for our next game as we continue our fight.”

With the club battling to escape the drop, Akinsanmiro’s return could be a crucial boost—and further fuel the growing belief that the youngster is edging closer to a future Super Eagles call-up.
