Pachon Promises Eagles Another Friendly In March 2019

The Super Eagles may get to play another top-grade international friendly in March 2019, in order to put their Africa Cup of Nations preparations into full swing.

This is the promise of FIFA-licensed match agent, Jairo Pachon, who told sports247.ng that he aims to help Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) plan well for AFCON 2019.

Although he admitted he was not the one who arranged Tuesday’s match against Uganda at Stephen Keshi Stadium, Pachon said the game was as good as any other he could arrange.

He, however, pointed out that the Eagles will need more matches heading to Cameroon 2019, for which they will play their final qualifier on March 22 against Seychelles.

Pachon, who is also a players’ representative and NFF match consultant, said the real work in Nigeria’s build-up to AFCON 2019 will begin after the match at home against Seychelles.

Pachon said: “I am looking forward to organizing a Grade-A match for the Super Eagles in March next year.

“It is a game that will prepare them well before the AFCON in June. This is subject to discussions I will have with the coach and the federation.”
