As the start of the Governor Wike Unity Cup gathers momentum, it’s another feather in the cap for the organizers of the tournament after it entered a partnership deal with top Nigeria based kit company, Owu Sportswear.
The finalists of this year’s tourney will be provided kits by Owu Sportswear.
Member of the Governor Wike unity cup organizing committee, Bashir Badawiy made this revelation in a chat with Governor Wike Unity Cup media after a partnership deal was activated.
“We are delighted to announce that we now have an official kit partner for the tournament”.
“Owu Sportswear will kit the two teams that will battle for the ultimate prize in the final,” he said.
Owu Sportswear is the official kit brand of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) sides, Rivers United and Akwa United amongst others who will be taking part in the tournament.
Port Harcourt City will host this year’s edition scheduled to start from the 15th to 22nd December 2018 with Abia Warriors, FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Sunshine Stars, MFM FC Akwa United, Bayelsa United, Enyimba International, Rivers United, Delta Force, Cynosure FC and SKE FC participating.
