“I’m happy to be the leading goal scorer at the moment, and my prayer is for God to give me the opportunity to score more goals and probably become the highest goal scorer at the end of the 2023/24 NNL season,” Owolabi said during the interview on the team’s return to training.
As Wikki Tourists FC sets its sights on a return to the NPFL next season, Owolabi revealed that the team’s spirit is high, and the atmosphere is conducive for a strong finish in the remaining matches of the season.
He expressed confidence in the team’s potential to bounce back to the top flight and called for the unwavering support and prayers of all Wikki Tourists supporters to achieve this collective goal.
Reflecting on his notable goals in the season, Owolabi outlined his contributions, including a goal against EFCC, one against Yobe Desert, and two against Nasarawa United.
