Reports emerged on Friday morning showcasing a jersey claiming to be the official attire for the three-time African champions at the upcoming Africa Cup Of Nations scheduled to be held in Cote d’Ivoire next month.

However, the NFF has clarified that the circulated jersey is not authentic and does not represent the official design for the tournament.

In an official statement, the NFF stated, “Rumours about a new jersey launch between NIKE and the senior Men’s National team circulating on social media has been brought to our notice.

We want to inform the general public that this claim is not true. At the moment, we have no jersey being launched for the Super Eagles for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to hold in Cote’D’Ivoire next month.”

The statement emphasizes the need for the public to dissociate from the unverified jersey circulating online and assures football enthusiasts that any official jersey launch for the Super Eagles will be communicated through proper channels.

The NFF looks forward to the original design from Nike and urges fans to await the official unveiling as the team prepares for the prestigious AFCON tournament in Cote d’Ivoire.
