Head coach of Kun Khalifa FC, Obinna Uzoho believes Kun Khalifat’s steady rise is no coincidence after his side secured a convincing 2-0 home victory over Niger Tornadoes.
Clearly delighted with the result, Uzoho described the performance as a reward for relentless effort behind the scenes.
“I am happy. It is going our way. It has not been easy so far, but the result of our hard work is working,” he said with confidence.
Beyond the scoreline, the coach pointed to mentality and tactical discipline as the foundation of the team’s progress.
“I am that coach who knows how to psych players. In football, there is no age, no big name. It is all about tactics,” Uzoho stated, underlining his belief in structure over reputation.
The Kun Khalifat boss also revealed his commitment to grassroots engagement, insisting that hidden talents from the streets are part of his long-term vision.
“I engage the street more. A lot of them from the grassroots are on board. They will wow the world,” he added.
The victory not only strengthens Kun Khalifat’s position but also reinforces Uzoho’s growing reputation as a motivator and tactician.
With a blend of experience, youthful hunger, and street-bred resilience, the team appears to be buying fully into his philosophy.
