A dazzling youngster at Super Accurate Football Academy of Ikotun, Lagos, Ogooluwa Lawal has disclosed that his favourite footballers are Victor Osimhen of Nigeria and FC Barcelona of Spain midfielder, Pedro Gonzalez Lopez (aka Pedri).
Ogooluwa, who is a very skillful right-footed attacking midfielder, told Sports247 that he joined Super Accurate Football Academy in 2020 when his father, Mr Lateef Lawal took him there to commence training towards a fruitful career in football.

The soft-spoken lad disclosed that the biggest motivation he always gets in football is from his dad, who also played the round leather game to an extent, but is now runs a company that supplies building materials.
He also thanked his friends at the academy and their coach, Adewale Oseni (aka Super) for encouraging him to aim high, especially as they always support him in his task of trying to be an effective player for the under-13 squad.
“I want to thank my dad for leading me into football. He still plays for All Stars, but he’s now a manager in building materials company.
“I also want to thank my teammates for supporting me and our coach for teaching me how to play. I am happy that they helped me become the top scorer and most valuable player at Prince Gas Cup in 2025.
“I was happy when we won the cup last year, because I scored seven goals to become the highest goal scorer and I was also the MVP of the competition. That’s my best competition so far.
“The Nigerian player that I like most is Osimhen, because he’s strong, fast and can shoot very well. I also like Pedri of Barca, because he’s always calm on the ball,” the youngster fondly called ‘Ogo’ concluded.
