Sporting Charleroi of Belgium attacker, Victor Osimhen has gained words of praise from the club’s coach, Felice Mazzu, after the fast-rising youngster scored in a 3-1 win over Cercle Brugge, sports247.ng reports.
It was Osimhen’s eighth goal in all competitions, seven coming in the league, for the Chile 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup top scorer, who went 18 months at VfL Wolfsburg of Germany without scoring in a competitive fixture.
His form in Belgium, where he is on loan to Charleroi has provoked memories of how he took the 2015 World Youth Championship by storm with his latest goal further cementing claims that he is back to his best.
Though Mazzu said the 19-year-old is not the finished player, he shows extraordinary quality and a keen eye for goal that always marks him out.
Mazzu added: “Victor is a talented young player, who still needs to be polished. What he shows, so far, is already extraordinary.”
