Nigerian goalkeeper Osayi Kingdom continued his impressive start to life in Sweden, recording a fifth consecutive clean sheet as Assyriska Södertälje held Sollentuna FK to a goalless draw in a Swedish Division One Norra clash on Saturday.
The former Rangers FC shot-stopper, who made his official debut just four days earlier in a 2-0 Swedish Cup victory over the same opponents, made his first league start for the club count by putting in a composed display between the sticks.

Since arriving from the Nigerian topflight in April, Osayi has made an immediate impact, bringing stability to the Assyriska backline. His commanding presence and sharp reflexes have now seen him go five matches without conceding a goal — a run that includes cup and friendly fixtures.
Speaking after the match, the ex-Doma United keeper credited his strong start to divine help. “I’m grateful to Jesus Christ for His guidance and care,” Osayi said, highlighting his faith as the cornerstone of his confidence and mental strength on the pitch.
Assyriska Södertälje will look to build on their solid defensive form when they take on Haninge next Saturday, as they aim to climb the table and maintain momentum in both league and cup competitions
