FC Midtjylland striker Paul Onuachu scored twice on Monday against Nordsjaelland to take his Danish Superliga goal tally for the season to 16.
The goals were Onuachu’s first since scoring a brace against OB in the Danish Cup on April 4.
Onuachu, who scored on his debut for Nigeria has now overtaken Sporting Charleroi’s Victor Osimhen in the race for Nigeria’s top scorer in Europe.
Osimhen had earlier scored his 15th league goal of the season in Sunday’s 2-2 draw away at KV Oostend.
Meanwhile, John Chibuike scored his first goal for his club Falkenbergs in Monday’s 3-1 loss to Sundsvall in the Swedish Allsvenskan
Chibuike, who was making his third appearance for Falkenbergs scored from the spot in the 86th minute.
