Ogun FA League clubs seminar holds Dec 9th, Pre-Season kicks off Dec 15

The Ogun State Football Association (OGSFA) is set to hold its 2020/2021 League club seminar on December 9th, 2020.

The seminar is organized for League clubs, Head of Stadia, and Football stakeholders in the State.

According to OGSFA Chairman and Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Board member, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi and OGSFA Secretary, Elder Victor Idowu, expected participants are;
1. All affiliated League clubs Chairmen, Secretaries, and Senior coaches.
2. Four players from each League club.
3. Teams medical personnel.
4. Chairman/Secretary of Ogun State Referee Association.
5. All Football Council’s Chairman/Secretary.
6. SWAN Ogun State Chapter.

The FA boss, Alhaji Majekodunmi said the venue of the seminar is the M.K.O Abiola Int’l Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, while the time is 10am.

He added that the Special Guest of Honour is the State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Dr. Oludare Kehinde.

Majek Football as he is fondly called by many said the seminar is to educate and enlighten the clubs and stakeholders, ahead of the commencement of the new Football season in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, the Ogun State Football body, OGSFA, have also concluded all arrangements to stage its 2020/2021 Pre-Season tournament, for League clubs in the State.

Information from OGSFA Secretariat indicates that the tournament will kick off on Tuesday, 15th of Dec, 2020.

The tournament will be staged at two venues, the M.K.O Abiola Int’l Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta and Sagamu Int’l Stadium, Sagamu.

The tournament is aimed at prepairing teams for the new Football season, as well as to get the teams compliant with the new FIFA/NFF COVID-19 guidelines.

The participation fee for the tournament remains #50,000.

It is also worthy to note that forms for the State League is also available at the FA Secretariat.
