Oba Femi Finally Gets Support From Brock Lesnar To Begin His Reign As WWE’s New Star Attraction

Nigerian professional wrestler, Isaac Odugbesan (aka Oba Femi) has finally gained support from maverick American grappler, Brock Lesnar for him to take over as the new star attraction of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), Sports247 reports

The nod for Oba Femi to commence his reign as the newest face of WWE came over the past weekend, when the former shotput champion at University of Lagos defeated Lesnar during SummerSlam 2026, and lead their scoresheet 2-1.

‘The Ruler’ made the best of the night’s epic bout tagged ‘Hell In A Cell’ to eventually send Lesnar into retirement, and the defeated icon conceded defeat in a most noble way.

It was the third fight between them in the space of four months and Oba Femi made the best of the night at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis to start the month in grand style as well as begin in new chapter for WWE.

A report by USA’s Fox News revealed in part, “The two major stars of WWE were locked inside the monstrous structure and nearly ripped the ring apart. Lesnar did as much as he could.

“He took Femi to Suplex City, but it didn’t have much effect on ‘The Ruler.’ Lesnar crushed Femi with the steel steps and hit him with multiple F5s but still couldn’t keep him down.

“For his last act, Lesnar ripped the canvas to expose the wood blocks underneath. He hit Femi with a tombstone piledriver in an apparent nod to The Undertaker.

“He came within a millisecond of beating Femi. But Femi kicked out and delivered a Fall from Grace. He finally was able to pin Lesnar and conquer someone who was deemed to be unconquerable.”

Lesnar then dramatised a change of baton right there in the ring, openly showing a transition from himself in the old guard to Oba Femi for the present and many years to come.

“This is the future, ladies and gentlemen. This is the past. This is the future,” said Lesnar, as held high both hands of ‘The Ruler’ and warmly admitted that a new king had emerged, while his own time to step aside had come.

Sports247 reports further that Lesnar put up a symbolic baton exchange to Oba Femi, as he raised the Nigerian wrestler’s hand after the bout, which marked a climax for the hugely hyped ‘Hell In A Cell.’
