NWFL Premiership Matchday 5 Standings: Bayelsa Queens, FC Robo Queens Lead the Way

The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership continued to deliver thrilling action as Matchday 5 fixtures further shaped the race for Super Six qualification in the 2025/2026 season.

In Group A, Bayelsa Queens maintained their perfect start to the campaign, sitting top of the table with 12 points from four matches.

The Yenagoa-based side have been ruthless in attack, scoring 12 goals while conceding just three to underline their title credentials.

Hot on their heels are Rivers Angels, also on 12 points after four games, but trailing on goal difference.

Edo Queens remain firmly in contention in third place with nine points, while Adamawa Queens occupy fourth following a mixed run of results.
Further down the table,

Heartland Queens, Ekiti Queens, and Ibom Angels are locked in a tight mid-table battle, as Naija Ratels and Pacesetters Queens continue to search for consistency at the bottom.

In Group B, FC Robo Queens have emerged as the pace-setters, topping the standings with a flawless 15 points from five matches.

The Lagos side have conceded just once while scoring 13 goals, making them the most dominant team in the group so far.

Nasarawa Amazons remain strong challengers in second place with 11 points, while Abia Angels and Remo Stars Ladies are level on eight points in third and fourth positions respectively.

Delta Queens and Osun Babes remain within touching distance as the race intensifies.

At the lower end, Sunshine Queens, Dannaz Ladies, Ahudiyannem Queens, and Confluence Queens face mounting pressure as the season progresses.

With the Super Six race tightening and every point becoming crucial, Matchday 5 has clearly set the tone for an exciting 2026 in the NWFL Premiership.
