Reflecting on the contest, Julius acknowledged the intensity, saying, “It was a very tough match. Let’s be sincere to ourselves, and there’s plenty of controversy, but there’s no controversy because at least it was recorded.

All the goals are clear goals if you check it, but our opponents gave us a fight, which is very good.”

Commenting on the performance of his players, Julius noted their improvement despite being a relatively new team, stating, “In fact, they are improving. It is a new team entirely to the FC Robo you know. I am getting about 9 players, but that is not an excuse.

The team is just coming back. In the game we played in Edo State, there were some mistakes we corrected. We have seen some others in this match, and we will go back to the drawing board to make some more corrections in preparation for our next match.”

Highlighting the youthfulness of the squad, he addressed the issue of communication, stating, “FC Robo paraded young players, mostly students.

For years now, our players have always been invited to the national camp, and we adjust. Two of our players who played for the U20 just resumed, and they trained together for a day. That one day is enough for the team to gel together. So communication is not an excuse.”

Discussing their plans moving forward, Julius emphasized the need for corrections, saying, “As we have seen from today’s match, we have seen our lapses, so we are going back to the drawing board to make corrections before going to our next away match at Ekiti. And I believe we are going to give them a fight at Ekiti and get points.”

In conclusion, Julius outlined the team’s aspirations for the league, stating, “Qualify for the Super 6, and at the end of the day, to win the league.”
