The Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) has confirmed that all is in place for the highly anticipated final phase of the 2025 Nigeria National Volleyball Premier League, billed for December 1–14 at the Indoor Sports Hall of the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

Backed by the Nigeria Customs Service under the leadership of the Controller-General, the concluding phase will bring together the best men’s and women’s volleyball clubs from across the country as they battle for the national crown, ranking points, and the prestigious Premier League title. NVBF President, Engr. Musa Nimrod, expressed strong confidence in the level of performance expected from participating teams, noting that the league’s steady progression mirrors the sport’s growing structure and fan engagement nationwide. He highlighted improved club management, better athlete development pathways, and expanding grassroots participation as signs of volleyball’s rising profile in Nigeria.

Chairman of the League Management Committee, Arch. Tanimu Adamu, affirmed that logistics, technical arrangements, and venue preparations have been fully concluded to guarantee a smooth and colourful championship. He described the final phase not just as a title-decider, but as a celebration of discipline, teamwork, and the resilience that defines Nigerian volleyball.

“The NVBF remains committed to elevating volleyball in Nigeria, and this year’s Premier League final phase is a testament to that commitment. We appreciate the unwavering support of the Controller-General of Customs and our partners for their investment in athlete development and national sports advancement,” he said.

To build excitement around the two-week spectacle, the NVBF Media Committee is encouraging volleyball fans, students, families, and sports lovers to turn out in large numbers for what is expected to be a festival of high-intensity action and electrifying atmosphere at the national stadium.

With all arrangements now complete, the federation has assured participating clubs, officials, and spectators of a safe, well-organised, and memorable championship in Abuja.
