All is now set for the public presentation/unveiling of FC One Rocket of Abat and a newly formed academy, Carabana Football Academy in Akwa Ibom State.
According to the owner of the clubs, Rt. Hon. Nse Essien, the event will take place today at Emerald Event Center, Edet Akpan Avenue, Uyo, November 6, 2020, by 6.00 pm.
He said the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Mr. Udom Emmanuel will serve as the Special Guest of Honour. The Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Mr. Moses Ekpo is expected to be the Guest of Honour as well as the Speaker, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey.
Rt. Hon. Nse Essien, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Youth, Sports, and Security and member representing ONNA State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, further disclosed that the Senator representing Uyo Senatorial District in the Senate, Senator Bassey Albert will grace the event as Chairman of the Occasion, while the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Sir Monday Uko will be the Chief Host.
Nse Essien however, invites all football stakeholders, supporters and fans of football to the event.
