NPFL: TOP CLUB OFFICIALS DESERT KADA CITY

One of the newly promoted teams to the Nigeria Professional Football League, Kada City of Kaduna is currently suffering massive exit of club officials.

 

 

sports247.ng reliably scooped that at least five top clubs officials including Head Coach of the team, Adams Usman, his assistant Coach Shola Ibrahim, Adewuyi General Coordinator as well the media officer Jide Bodunde all left the club due to various grievance they have with the club owner, Mr Ekene Abubakar Adams.

 

An insider who confined with sports247.ng@gmail.com said that some of the officials are not happy with the high handendness of the club owner as they were being treated after putting their best to ensure the Premier league matches return to Kaduna state through Kada City.

 

Few of the officials also alleged that the owner single handedly struck a deal with Delta State Government by swapping their slot with Delta Force without taking his management along in the deal. The deal is rumored to worth over hundred millions of Naira.

Also, the CEO brought in some hands to work with the technical crew and mandated the coaches to pay from their own pockets. The development much did not go down well with the technical crew.

sports247.ng later learnt that each official was promised 1.2 million each from the proceeds made from the deal but as at the time of filing this report, no official received a dime.

Further investigation also revealed that Delta State Government has been financing the home and away matches prosecuted by Kada City.

Efforts made to reach the former media officer Jide Bodunde to comment on the matter was unsuccessful as he is yet to return a call put through to him.

Consequently, the club will compete in the Nigeria National League next season, taking the slot of Delta Force.
