The chairman of Wikki Tourists FC Alhaji Auwalu Babaja has congratulated Gombe United FC over their qualification to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Babajada who spoke through the Club’s media officer, Nasiru Abdullahi Kobi said the return of Gombe United back to Nigeria’s elite division football will strengthen the competitive nature of the league.
Babajada added that as an experienced club that have tested the league before, Gombe United have what it takes to compete for greatness in the league.
He used the forum to solicit for more support from Gombe fans to Wikki Tourists FC who will be playing their league matches in Gombe this season.
The Giant Elephants won’t be in action in the matchday one of the 2018/19 NPFL due to the fact that opponents Bendel Insurance are participating in the final of the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 8.
