Katsina United head coach Abdullahi Biffo says the club cannot afford to expend its limited resource on an unending Pre-season programme when the actual date for the new NPFL season is yet to be made official.
Teams in the NPFL had earlier kick started their preseason programmes ahead of a December 1 league kick off date but the league is yet to resume after efforts from the LMC to allow only four teams get promotion into the premier league from the NNL has proved abortive.
Speaking with Sports247.ng the talented coach reveled that knowing a definite resumption date for the league will help the team and its management properly work out their plans for the new season instead of waiting their time when the league will probably begin next year.
Katstina United has been involved in several preseason competitions but Biffo lamented the LMC’s delay in deciding a kick off date for the league, stressing that it hinders proper planning for the forthcoming season.
