Abia Warriors’ Emeka Obioma and Enyimba’s Chidera Michael are also within touching distance on 11 goals, while Daddy Abdulrahman has recorded 10 goals this campaign.
The battle for the Golden Boot is expected to go down to the final day, with several top scorers set for crucial fixtures in the closing weeks of the campaign.
Arumala’s Ikorodu City will face Katsina United in a potentially decisive clash on Matchday 37, bringing the league’s leading scorer head-to-head with fellow challenger Uche Collins.
