NPFL: Aguda Sets Sights On Winning The Super Six

Enugu Rangers attacking midfielder Godwin Aguda says his team’s goal is to win the Super Six tourney and emerge as champions of the 2018/19 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

Aguda, who captained Rangers to a 1-0 win over Rivers United in their last NPFL fixture told the club’s official website that the team’s target is the Super Six.

“The Super Six is our next target and we hope to do better and return to Enugu as league champions.”

Rangers have qualified for the Super Six and would face Akwa United, Kano Pillars as well as three other teams seeking to qualify on the last day of the season.

The Flying Antelopes won the NPFL title in 2016 after a 34-year wait and have been impressive this season – topping Group A of the NPFL log with 40 points from 21 games.

Gbenga Ogunbute’s men will be guest to Wikki Tourists in their last league game of the season before the Super Six playoffs start.
