NPFL: Abubakar Bala delighted with Alebiosu

Coach Abubakar Bala has claimed that he was happy with Segun Alebiosu’s performance after the 3-2 win over Enyimba.

The striker scored two with Usman Mohammed bagging the winner at the Kwara Stadium Complex on Sunday in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) week 3.

And the tactician admitted it was a good result.

“Segun Alebiosu played very well today (Sunday), he has personality, skill and he he is a good player for us,” Abubakar Bala told Sports247.ng.

“It was a great way to bounce back after missing a penalty kick against and scoring an own goal at MFM.

“He can play centre and on the wing. More defensive work on wing. In centre he is freer to look for space between the two lines.

“He has the ability to find the right position on the pitch.

“Usman Mohammed scored, and for him it is good to score. He didn’t have a problem, but to score, for a forward, is always a good thing.

“Overall the boys played very well and deserve the accolade,” he added.
