President of the Nigeria Referees Association, NRA, Otunba Tade Azeez has reiterated assurances that his members involved in all cadres of the leagues in the country, are upbeat about good officiating.
Speaking after a consultative meeting with the organisers of the NPFL with the Referees Committee of the NFF, Otunba Tade Azeez stated that despite the challenges referees encounter in the system, fair and firm Officiating remains the watchword of his members.
He therefore enjoins other stakeholders in the leagues to play according to the rules.
Cross River based FIFA referee, Dr Joseph Ogabor who is fresh from a CAF Nation’s Cup Qualifying match in Benin Republic alongside colleague Samuel Pwadutakam have taken their kits from the airport straight to Aba to handle the Enyimba vs Kwara United clash. The team is completed with Mamunu Umar as Assistant Referee 2 while a retired FIFA referee, Orowole Tope is the Assessor.
