Ahead of today’s NPFL matches, the Nigeria Referees Association, NRA has insisted that its members on duty shall be guided by the rules of the game.
Echoing the promise is the President, Otunba Tade Azeez who at the Annual General Meeting of NRA held in Abuja revealed that there is no going back on good officiating.
While appreciating the NPFL referees for a job well done so far in the current season, Otunba Tade Azeez expressed happiness at the prompt decision of the League Management Committee, LMC, to sanction erring clubs who take joy in harassing, intimidating and assaulting referees at match venues. He said that such measures by the league organisers will empower match officials to be fair and firm in all centres.
