“No Looking Back” – Ahmed Adebayor Joins IK Start After Estonia Breakthrough

Nigerian forward Ahmed Adebayor has officially signed with Norwegian club IK Start, completing a transfer from Estonian side Tartu Tammeka.

The deal, brokered by Spero Player Management Agency in partnership with Majestic Sport Agency, sees the 22-year-old make the move to Norway’s OBOS-ligaen following an impressive season in the Estonian Premium Liiga.

Adebayor expressed excitement about the move, saying he is ready for the new challenge and eager to help his new club. “At Tartu I showed what I can do. Now I have a new challenge in Norway, and I’ll give everything to help this club rise. No looking back,” he said.

IK Start’s management described the striker as a hungry and talented addition to their attack, citing his speed and finishing ability as key assets for the team’s promotion ambitions.

Ahmed Adebayor is expected to be available for selection in the club’s next league fixture.
