Vandrezzer FC continued their unbeaten start to life in Lagos as they prepare for the start of the Nigeria National League after defeating fellow NNL compatriots Remo Stars 1-0 in a friendly game in Lagos.
The Ogun State-based side missed a flurry of chances and ended the game with a loss. Speaking to Sports247 after the game, Remo Stars winger Agbeku Morgan said “we’re already prepared but we need to work more to win.”
“I don’t know, maybe it was bad luck but we’ll try to improve more on our scoring ability,” Morgan said when quizzed about the missed chances.
Remo stars will look to start their NNL season with a win when the league starts in February.
