NNL 2019/20: Coach Dennis blames referee for 3-0 defeat to Remo Star Fc …says he needs glasses

Head Coach of Calabar Rovers, Dennis John was a no happy man after the final whistle of the Match day 5 clash involving his team and host, Remo Stars FC at the Gateway Stadium, Ogun State following a dramatic 3-0 loss.

Calabar Rovers defender was boked for handling the ball in the penalty area before the break only to see himself shown a red card for vile words against the Referee.

Stand in Captain, Ndukwe JR calmly slotted in the spot kick to give Remo Stars the lead before halftime break.

Expressing his anger after his side loss, ,” Football is supposed to be a fair game, my player was booked wrongly and he complained to the referee and then he was shown the exit”, he lamented in an exclusive chat with Sports247.ng.

“Loosing a player before half time is a big blow to the boys on the pitch, it killed whatever momentum in them, I don’t know how this referee managed to pass his exams, we lost this match because of his poor decisions”.

” He needs glasses, there are simple things you need to know before you officiate a match, we have lost this, we still have so much ahead”.

” We have a home game next, we go and prepare and move on from this defeat with the break coming in weeks time, we have to win the next gam”, he ended.
