Baale Oki Challenge Cup: Coach Moves To Suspend Indisciplined Players Over Team’s Defeat

After team B of Badru United football club crashed out in the ongoing Baale Oki Challenge Cup, head coach of the team, Azeez Badru said some Indisciplined players would go on two months suspension.

Badru told Sports247 after his team lost to Nice FC 0-1 in the last group of game played recently at Oki Primary School, Iyana-Ipaja, Lagos.

With this defeat, B United lost two matches and crashed out of the tournament.

Badru who was disappointed with team’s loss said their defeat was caused by indiscpline on the part of his players.
“We lost because some of my players came late to the match that is very crucial to us.This is hight of indiscpline and I have penciled down some players that would go on suspension for this defeat,”he said.

Badru said it was so painful that his team did not go beyond group stage insisted that there would be punishment for players who are not disciplined in the team.

Commenting on team victory, Basit Hassan expressed delight with the victory and promised to win their next match.

“Our next match is going to be tough and we need victory to qualify.I thank God for this victory and we are looking forward to our next match with victory,”he concluded.
