NLO 2022/2023: ‘This Win Is Very Paramount For Upcoming Tough Games,’ T.C.C.G Rabiu Abdulmumin Admits Victory Will Build Momentum For Crucial Matches

Rabiu Abdulmumin, general manager and technical director of True Covenant Church of God FC (TCCG) has revealed the importance of the very win against Sporting Lagos FA in the NLO 2022/2023 matchday three yesterday admitting that it would give the team a cutting edge for upcoming tough games.

The team who recorded their second win of the season picked three vital points against Sporting Lagos FA with a 2-1 score-line at the Admiralty stadium to keep thier unbeaten record intact.

Speaking with Sports247.ng in his post match assessment, Rabiu Abdulmumin couldn’t hide his excitement over the victory, “I’m grateful for the three points they secured which is crucial for their ongoing efforts in preparing for the tougher games ahead.”

“We thank God that we can secure the three points which are very important because it is a continuous exercise as we start preparing for the tougher games ahead”.

Rabiu also acknowledged that all teams are participating without any write-offs, and the three points they earned are a significant achievement.

“The team’s ultimate objective is to get back to NNL because just last year, we missed out on the competition when we were so close,” he allayed.

“We thank God we are in the contest this year and by the special grace of God, we will not give up until we can secure the NNL promotion.”

Concluding, Rabiu shared that the team’s mission is to offer a chance for talented less privileged players to leave the streets and excel in football.
