“Nigerian Youths Must Be Continuously Empowered and Engaged” — Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi Ahead of Renewed Hope Youth Festival 2026

The Director of Youth, Renewed Hope Youth Directorate, Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi, has emphasized the need for sustained youth engagement and empowerment as a strategic pathway toward national development, peace, and economic growth.

Speaking ahead of the forthcoming Renewed Hope Youth Festival 2026, Dr. Abdullahi noted that Nigeria’s youthful population remains one of the country’s greatest assets and must be adequately supported through opportunities that encourage productivity, leadership, innovation, and unity.

“Our youths are the energy and strength of this nation. When they are positively engaged and empowered, they become drivers of peace, development, and progress. We must continue to invest in platforms that inspire and uplift young Nigerians,” he stated.

The Renewed Hope Youth Festival 2026, scheduled to hold on June 12, 2026, at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, is being organized by the Renewed Hope Youth Directorate in partnership with the Office of the APC National Youth Leader, Hon. Dayo Israel.

According to Dr. Abdullahi, the festival is designed to create opportunities for young Nigerians to connect, showcase their talents, build networks, and contribute meaningfully to national development.

“This festival is more than just an event; it is a movement aimed at promoting unity, leadership, sports, creativity, entrepreneurship, and youth inclusion. We want every young Nigerian to feel inspired and hopeful about the future,” he added.

He further commended members of the organizing and mobilization teams for their commitment and dedication toward ensuring a successful outing, noting that preparations have reached advanced stages.

The Renewed Hope Youth Festival 2026 is expected to attract thousands of participants from across the country and will feature sports activities, entertainment, games, networking opportunities, dialogue sessions, empowerment initiatives, and leadership engagements.

Dr. Abdullahi also reaffirmed the commitment of the Directorate to supporting the vision of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR through initiatives that place Nigerian youths at the center of national growth and transformation.

“The future belongs to the youth, and through initiatives like this, we are building a stronger, united, and more prosperous Nigeria,” he concluded.
