One thing about this young lad drive which exceeds him is that he wasn’t born in Yekini’s active days neither has he seen the Veteran player while he was alive in action but the rich history of the Nigerian legend is his propeller as he strives for stardom.
Those that saw the Late Rasheed Yekini in action will know what a herculean task this youngster has set foot on although he admitted that he would have loved to see him play but guess time flies so quickly that you no longer can tell.
Video clips of the deceased will not do a better justice of seeing which they say is believing, but sometimes when you are hopeful and determined, it’s beyond what you can see.
“I’m hopeful, I know this is not easy, I will one day get to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, the record has been for years, definitely someone has to break the jinx,” he said.
