Alampasu suffers first defeat in race of league title… Aderounmu, Ogunji, Pyagbara also in action

Dele Alamapasu tasted his first defeat in three consecutive starts since going Latvia side, Ventspils as they succumbed to a nervy 1-0 away defeat in the hands of Jelgava.

Jelgava, currently placed 4th on the log with 9 points, one point below Ventspils who sits currently on third with 10 points, also has Ogunji Olabanjo on their books and had previously lost three consecutive games before the victory against Ventspils.

Aderounmu Kazims who scored last in the visitor’s comfortable 1-3 away victory against Spartaks also made a cameo appearance but his efforts wasn’t enough to salvage a point for his team.
