Nigerian Women Referees For WCL 2021 Third Place Game

Just as Olympic Games export, Nigeria’s woman FIFA referee, Patience Ndidiamaka Madu had a swell time in Japan with the women soccer event, her compatriots in Abidjan Cote D Ivoire, for the CAF Women Club Competition, WAFU Akintoye Yemisi Eunice and Akpan Mfom Friday have been appointed to handle the Third Place Game between USFA Burkina Faso vs Amis du Monde of Togo at the Abidjan Stade Robert Champro later this evening.

The Nigerian Referees were picked for third place as a team from the country, Rivers Angels qualified to play for the finals which rule officials from Nigeria out handling the finals.

While Yemisi will be at the center, Akpan is the Assistant Referee 1 in the encounter Ghana’s Chakule Alice and Nafissa Sani of Niger are Assistant Referee 2 and Fourth Official respectively.

Interestingly, Nigeria’s FIFA and CAF trained Technical Instructor, Felicia Chibuogwu Okwugba (Fifa rtd) is the Referee Assessor)
