“It was a successful outing for me,” Okon said.

According to the Nigerian athlete, competing in the 200m has helped him discover new strengths within his sprinting abilities.

“I want to run more 200m races now,” he implied.

Okon also praised the quality of his university teammates, revealing that training and competing alongside them continues pushing him to improve.

“My teammates are very strong,” he noted.

The sprinter explained that maintaining pace with high-performing teammates has contributed significantly to his development.

“They motivate me to get better,” he added.

Nigeria continues producing promising sprint talents across collegiate athletics systems in the United States and beyond.

“The competition level keeps improving,” many athletics observers believe.

Explore new challenges.

Compete consistently.

And keep improving through strong competition.

Because athletes often discover new strengths when they push beyond their comfort zones.
