Nigeria Volleyball: Jato hails massive turnout at Volleyball Premier League

The athlete representative in the board of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Emmanuel Jato says the recent Premier League held in Abuja is a good start for the federation to actually make the game one of the most popular in the country.

 

 

He said he was impressed with the turnout of Abuja residents and volleyball fans in the final of the event last weekend.

“The Volleyball Premier League was a very successful one that brought out the best in the teams both in male and female version,” Emmanuel Jato commented to Sports247.ng.

“The Federation is happy to have organised such a memorable competition. We are proud to have been the custodian of such feat that is the talk of the town.”

“Turnout at the Nations Federal Capital Territory was massive and amazing. It shows that followership in Volleyball has really improved.”

The former national team captain added that a title sponsor will help the game grow tremendously in Nigeria.
