Nigeria To Get New Coaches Soon – Amaju Pinnick

The present state of sports in Nigeria because of the impart of the coronavirus made it impossible for national football activities to go on. However, things are getting into shape now as football is gradually coming alive. President of the Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Pinnick has said that new coaches will be appointed to fill up the vacant positions in the Super Falcons and other national teams soon. reports sports247

Due to the vacancy of the position, Christopher Danjuma was appointed interim head coach of the Super Falcons last year following Thomas Dennerby’s resignation.

But the NFF are looking for a more experienced and capable hand to lead the African champions in the nearest future.

The Flying Eagles and Golden Eaglets will also get new coaches after their last assignments in 2019 before the lockdown started.

Speaking to the media, Pinnick says, “With regards to a Coach for the Super Falcons, Africa’s biggest female football team, Phillips Consulting, in charge of the recruitment process, are putting finishing touches to it and a Coach will be announced soon,” Pinnick stated.

He also made it very clear that not just the Super Falcons but also other national football teams too are getting the attention. “This also applies to Coaches for the different cadres of our National Teams,” he concluded.
