Nigeria League One Clubs Owner Association Salute NLO/NFF Over Second Covid-19 Relief Fund But Urged Them To Do More

The Nigeria League One (NLO) Club owners Association has commended the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, and the Nigeria League One, NLO board over the release of the second phase of the Covid-19 relief fund to clubs.

Chairman of the interim NLO body, Alhaji Hussaini Mohammed, Ceo, Haifa Fc, Jigawa state, said it’s good news that some clubs have received their second phase of the Covid-19 fund but urged NFF to ensure everybody gets their entitlement.

“I am yet to receive mine and it’s a good development that some clubs have confirmed their payment receipt”.

Vice-Chairman of the interim body, Prince Nwaeze Chidiebere, Chairman Cynosure Fc of Ebonyi commended the NFF and admonish other clubs to acknowledge receipt when paid.

Secretary to the body that has the true club owners forum, Engr. Eugene Eremiokhale of CEO Sunsel Fc points out that some clubs are yet to receive the first payment of the covid-19 relief fund talkless of the second batch.

“No doubt it’s a commendable effort by the NLO board to the NFF but there is need to improve the system for other clubs who are yet to benefit to do so”.

Eugene urged the clubs that are yet to benefit to be patient and follow up the process themselves if they want to benefit from it.

The NLO Club owners association is aimed at supporting the league body to improve its structure and make the league better.

They also urged other club owners who are missing out to do well to join as it is open for all lower clubs division owners.
