The president of Nigeria Golf Federation (NGF), Otunba Segun Runsewe, has assured that the body’s upcoming second annual summit will be a massive event that will be graced by many esteemed personalities, with several key points to be discussed.
Sports247 reports that Runsewe further disclosed that a lot of corporate bodies will also be involved in the event, which is officially tagged 2nd Nigeria Golf Federation Summit, with participants set to converge on August 26th and 27th at NICON Hotel, Abuja.
Runsewe added that the highly anticipated summit will have His Royal Highness, Oba Sahees Ademola Elegushi as Royal Father of the day, with top personalities and stakeholders of golf across Nigeria and abroad expected in attendance during the highly glamorous event.
He further disclosed that his huge expectations for a grand occasion are based on confirmations that have already been received from many of the guests and dignitaries expected to grace the occasion, while the GFN is also anticipating more partnerships to further glamourise the event.
“This is an opportunity to network and shape the future of golf in Nigeria,” Runsewe stated enthusiastically, “It is going to be very massive, we expect captains of industries, golf administrators, stakeholders and golf enthusiasts to join us for this landmark gathering.
“It will feature insightful discussions, developments, investments and ideas for golf in Nigeria. Stakeholders and golfers will further boost excellence, partnership and a brighter future for Nigerian golf. We are ready for this big event, because it will change the face of golf in Nigeria.”
