NFF President, Gusua Donate Half Million To Ailing Henry Nwosu

The President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau and his entourage accompanied by the Delta state FA chairman Kenneth Nwaomucha visited Ex Nigeria International Henry Nwosu (MON) at the Asaba Specialist Teaching Hospital this Tuesday.

“We will continue to show our support in time of need as we pray for God’s mercy and guidance to all of us”.

“We pray God to give our brother Henry Nwosu good health back to his feet again”

He on behalf of the Nigeria Football Federation presented ₦500,000 to the family of Henry Nwosu for his upkeep and prayed that God will continue to strengthen him as Nigerians continually pray for his full recovery.

He was accompanied by the Chairman of the Kano State Football Association Alhaji
Sharif Rabi’u Inuwa, and a member of the Delta state FA board, and veteran Broadcaster Mr. Harrison Ocholor.

Henry Nwosu has been under the care of the Delta state government receiving treatment.

After which he will be moved to Lagos state on Wednesday where he is expected to be treated in the best hospital in Nigeria by the state government to see the need to improve his health condition or possibly flown out of Nigeria for further care.

The Minister of Sports Sunday Dare has also shown his solidarity with the ex-player need when he came to inspect the Stephen Keshi stadium, Asaba a few weeks ago ahead of the National Sports Festival that is expected to commence November 28th -December 10th.
