NCF reiterates commitments to developing cricket in Nigeria

Following the recent flag off of the Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) Mobilization program in Abuja, board member of the NCF, Oludare Ayemola has told Sports247.ng that three states from each zone of the country will benefit from the initiative.

 

 

He revealed that next to benefit will be the Nasarawa, Plateau and Benue. He hinted that the NCF will ensure that it is a continuous project of the current administration.

“We are determined to keep our athletes busy and fishing out talented ones for future engagements that will be beneficial to all,” Oludare Ayemola enthused while speaking to Sports247.ng.

“The Mobilization program is an initiative that will serve in the best interest of everyone involved in the game of Cricket in Nigeria.”

“We have decided that three states from each of the Geo Political Zone will be beneficiaries of the Mobilization exercise. We will be starting with Nasarawa, Plateau and Benue.”

“This is not a one-off program but an initiative that will stand the test of time. It will be a continuous event.”

The NCF mobilization program is targeted at taking cricket to secondary schools in the country as a way of grassroots development of the sports.
