Coordinator of the Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) and President of the African Beach Soccer Union, Mahmud Hadejia, has extended heartfelt appreciation to the league’s sponsors, partners, and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) following the successful conclusion of the 2025 NBSL Super Finals in Abuja, where Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors were crowned champions after defeating three-time winners Kebbi Fishers BSC.
In his post-tournament remarks, Hadejia praised the unwavering support of the league’s corporate partners — TGI Group’s Wacot Rice Limited, Big Bull Rice, Medicaid Cancer Foundation, Constrix Real Estate, Vento Furniture, Jaiz Bank, Jedo Investment, and BAM Projects and Properties — describing their contributions as “vital to the growth, visibility, and sustainability of beach soccer in Nigeria.”

He also commended the leadership of the NFF, under Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, for its steadfast backing and physical presence at the Super Finals, noting that the Federation’s encouragement has been a driving force behind the steady development of the sport.
“The commitment of our sponsors and the NFF has kept this league alive and consistent. Their belief in our vision is what gives us the confidence to keep pushing the boundaries of beach soccer in Nigeria,” Hadejia said.
Reflecting on Nigeria’s rich history in beach soccer — including two AFCON titles — Hadejia expressed optimism about the future of the Super Sand Eagles, stating that with the current level of organization and renewed participation in international competitions, “Nigeria can soon host the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations and perform excellently.”
A major highlight of the Super Finals was the introduction of women’s beach soccer, marked by an exhibition match between Naija Ratels FC and Generation Next FA. Hadejia described the development as a “defining moment” for the sport.
“The women’s exhibition game is a statement of intent — it shows that the future of women’s beach soccer is promising, and we’re ready to nurture it here in Nigeria and across Africa,” he emphasized.
During the closing ceremony, the NBSL also presented appreciation awards to notable supporters, including NFF President Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, Nigeria Volleyball Federation President Engineer Musa Nimrod, Comptroller General of Customs Dr. Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, Seyi Tinubu, Vento Furniture, Wacot Rice Mill Limited, and Constrix Real Estate, in recognition of their exceptional contributions to the development of beach soccer in Nigeria.
The successful 2025 Super Finals capped another milestone year for the NBSL, reinforcing its position as one of Africa’s most organized and fast-growing beach soccer leagues.
