The gesture underscores Galadima’s dedication to ensuring that football in Nasarawa State remains a unifying tool accessible to all, regardless of social status or circumstance.

Speaking during the presentation, the FA Chairman reaffirmed his belief that no group should be left behind in the state’s football development plans, stressing that the game remains a powerful platform for rehabilitation, engagement, and hope within correctional facilities.

The Annual Prisoners’ Football Competition, a major sporting activity within the Lafia custodial centre, provides inmates with an opportunity to showcase their talent, foster team spirit, and improve their mental well-being.

With the new jerseys, the teams are expected to compete in improved morale and a strengthened sense of identity, further boosting the competition’s impact.

The donation has been widely commended as a strategic move that aligns with the FA’s broader vision of promoting football at every level across Nasarawa State.
