My goal Is To Become A World Star – Godsent Obuzeme

Teenage Sensation Godsent Obuzeme has set his sights on becoming a world Star following his flying start to his Career with Dino Sports FC Abeokuta. The former KG Sports Academy Agbor Striker revealed this after making his full debut for the Abeokuta Side in the TCC League week 7 fixtures.

Godsent who was scouted while playing for KG sports Academy in the 2022 Bet9ja-DFA State league joined DINO Sports FC in June and has been impressive to the delight of Director of Dino Sports Mr Omamofe,

“He has shown great potential which was what attracted us to him, he is tall, young and agile, uses both feet and has great speed” Omamofe said

The prolific striker who netted 25 goals in 15 Appearances for KG Sports before joining Dino has scored 3 times in 10 Games for Dino despite only cameo appearances

He made his first full 90 minutes appearance in the 1-0 win over Gbagada FC in the TCC league and was very impressive to the delight of the fans.

“I am delighted to have my first full 90 minutes under my belt, its the beginning of great things to come for me as i set my eyes on becoming a world star” Godsent said.

“It has not been easy leaving my Family behind in Agbor to an entire new experience here in Abeokuta, but i believe its the sacrifice i have to make to get to the top” the 17 year old striker said.

“I can see i am improving technically and physically since i joined Dino and hopefully will get to the right level expected of me soon” he enthused.

Godsent Obuzeme was discovered by KG sports Director, Ken Gadaffi as a 14 year old high school 400m runner for St Columbus Grammar School Agbor before he joined KG sports Academy. The Striker who missed the first round of the Ika grassroots football league 2021 because of his WAEC returned to the team with a hattrick in his first match before going on to score 8 goals in 9 matches attracting several interests before the move to DINO Sports.

“Yeah, many clubs were interested in me, from Kwale, Warri, Ughelli and Lagos, but i settled for Dino FC because they presented a platform for me to really grow and i am enjoying every moment here” he stated.
