Morocco Tourney: Prince Kazeem Eletu FC Win Big In Lagos

In order to have a good outing in Morocco invitational tourney schedule to hold later in the year, Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club walloped Young Strikers Football Club of Lagos Island 4-2 in a friendly match played at the Agege Stadium, Lagos.

The pulsating friendly encounter held yesterday as both teams played good football throughout the tie.

Akinlade Olanrewaju gave a good account of himself when he scored two early goals to demoralize the game plan of their opponents.

The two goals gave Prince Kazeem Eletu FC added advantage as they dominated the proceeding from the blast of the whistle.

With their scintillating performance on the field, Morakinyo Ajadi scored at the close range in the 32nd minutes to make it the third goal.

The Young Strikers quickly responded when Thomas Kosoko fired a shot to beat Ebuka Joseph who could not save the ball in the 38th minutes.

The second half was more promising and exciting as Young Strikers intensified their effort to reduce the tally. Their effort was rewarded as Kosoko scored the second goal in the 67th minutes to pile pressure on their opponents.

The goal motivated the opponents to begin up their game. Precious Agu’s goal in the 87th minutes was all Prince Kazeem Eletu FC needed to confirm their supremacy over their opponents.

In his own remark, Prince Kazeem Eletu Coach, Gilles Hugon said he was satisfied with the result but noted that there are some areas he needed to work on the players. He said both teams played well but noted that his players took their chances in the first half which gave them added advantage.

While Babatunde Ariyo, coach of Young Strikers said it was a tough game for his team noted that the best team won the game.
