Michael Olise Gets Offer Of Improved €14m Annual Salary From Bayern Munich To Ward Off Real Madrid’s Interest

Bayern Munich of Germany have offered their Nigerian-born French international, Michael Olise an improved annual salary worth €14m in order to ward off interest in the fast-rising dazzler from Real Madrid of Spain.

Sports247 gathered that the offer comes in rection to reports that the 24-year-old Olise is seeking crunch talks with The Bavarians, as he reconsiders his future with the team he joined in July 2024, following which he scored 25 goals and provided 28 assists in 57 games last season.

Aside from cementing his place in Bayern’s mainframe, Olise has also emerged as a key member of France’s squad at the ongoing FIFA World Cup, where he has helped the team reach the semi-finals and appears eager to reap from that achievement with huge demands in Munich.

A repoort by El Debate adds: “Olise has demanded a meeting with Bayern’s higher-ups immediately after the tournament to discuss his future. It’s been widely reported that Real Madrid are interested in the winger, although Bayern have no intention of letting him leave.

“Currently away with several Real Madrid players, including Kylian Mbappe and Aurelien Tchouameni, Olise is well aware of the club’s interest. Bayern are looking to secure his long-term services, however, and are willing to increase his base salary from €8m per year to €14m.”
