Lokosa Vows To Justify Nigerian Fame At Esperance

New signing at Esperance of Tunisia, Junioor Lokosa has vowed to keep alive the club’s Nigerian tradition and replicate the past heroics of other players from his country.

Sports247.ng can report that Lokosa is excited to follow the path etched by the like of Garba ‘Chindo’ Lawal, Michael Eneramo and Gabriel Okolosi at the Tunis-based side, for which he has promised a rain of goals.

Lokosa said he will be all out to justify the club’s trust in him, which he believes was occasioned by respect for Nigerian football and the quality of the country’s players that have starred for the team over the years.

The former First Bank FC of Lagos striker said he is happy with the chance to begin his career abroad in Tunisia and pledged to give everything in making it a bigger success than he had at Kano Pillars.

“I feel very happy to have made this move; playing with the current African champions makes it even more special and demanding for me.

“I will do my best just like every Nigerian player that has played here and hopefully I can also do better than I did with Kano Pillars,” he said.
