Lobi Stars U19 duo Paul Aver and Daniel Onu have made the final cut of the 17 players selected for the NPFL National Under-19 team, after impressing officials with their exceptional talent, professionalism, and dedication during a highly competitive camping session in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The selection process saw over 70 talented players from NPFL U-19 teams gather to showcase their skills under the guidance of national under-19 head coach Eugene Agagbe.

Aver and Onu, who is also the captain of Lobi Stars U19, earned the coveted slots with their outstanding teamwork performance on the pitch to the admiration of the coach Agagbe led’s technical crew
The duo have been an integral part of the Lobi Stars under-19 side since joining the Makurdi-based young side, and their selection is a testament to their hard work and commitment to give out their maximum output everywhere they go.
In a related development, Onu has joined the senior team to intensify preparations for the 13th Gold Cup Pre-Season Tournament taking place in Sagamu, Ogun State, and the upcoming season under the directive of the club’s head coach, Abubakar Bala.
